These classes use the saving throws and HD of the specialist from LotFP. They are either a skill-based class or a mix of magic-user and fighter. Specialist-type classes draw their sage abilities from both the Fighter and Magic-User list.
Specialist
Specialists receive 4 skill points at level 1 and 2 more at each additional level.
Specialists can use all one-handed melee weapons and all ranged weapons.
Conduit
Conduits are Sahargeen's emissaries, the people who defend Sahargeen from poachers and overzealous lumberjacks and also maintain the predator-prey balance.
Conduits receive 3 pips in Bushcraft and receive another pip at 4th, 7th, and 10th level.
As representatives of Sahargeen, conduits have access to a number of miracles. They are also blessed by Sahargeen with a tattoo of a tree which begins on the small of their back. As they become more powerful, the tattoo will spread and eventually festoon their entire body.
Conduits are trained in the cudgel, dart, knife, baston, blowgun, sibat, and recurved bow.
Muhaddi
The wise people of the Tarluskani are known as Muhaddi, and they serve as counselors and teachers. Their talent lies in storytelling, and the stories they tell often have a magical quality about them.
Muhaddi gain no skills but have access to a number of magical storytelling effects.
Muhaddi are trained in the cudgel, dart, knife, tulwar, and compound bow.
Ognemuo
The Thanatphanaios, or death speakers, of the Archivists perform the funeral rites on Archivist dead that preserve the corpse's gidim, awakening it as an Ancestor Spirit. However, they can only conduct their sacred task on relatively fresh bodies. The Ognemuo are tasked with retrieving dead Archivists for preservation.
Ognemuo have a +1 attack bonus at first level, and it increases by 1 at every odd level.
Ognemuo also have some small skill with Thanatphanai miracles (they can talk to spirits, summon gidim to answer questions, etc.).
Ognemuo are trained in the cudgel, dart, knife, xiphos, light crossbow, and heavy crossbow.
Sohei
The Mediums are devoted to ending all conflict forever by spreading understanding and tranquility with them wherever they go. The Sohei share the same goal, but also realize that sometimes peace only comes through violence.
Sohei have a +1 attack bonus at first level.
Sohei may, at each level, choose to increase their attack bonus or Peacebonding, the skill through which they force peacefulness upon other sentient creatures.
Sohei are proficient in the cudgel, dart, knife, and eiku.
